Following the approval of the Vision and Strategic Priorities 2025–2031 and the Three-Year Strategy 2025–2028, the Erasmus Student Network is happy to announce the adoption of the Action Plan for the academic year 2025–2026.
This Action Plan has been developed through an extensive consultation process within the ESN Network throughout 2024 and 2025. It builds on the achievements and learnings of previous years, aligning closely with the overarching goals set out in both the Vision and Strategic Priorities 2025–2031 and the Three-Year Strategy 2025–2028.
While the Vision and the Three-Year Strategy define ESN’s long-term and mid-term objectives by focusing on the broader picture, the Action Plan outlines specific, short-term actions aimed at putting these strategies into practice.
The document is structured around ESN’s six Strategic Priorities:
- International Mobility and Student Support
- Volunteer Management and Development
- Governance and Membership
- Visibility, Outreach and External Relations
- Digitalisation of Mobility and IT Infrastructure
- Impact and Community Engagement
Key priorities for the upcoming year include continued support for international mobility and deeper engagement of the Network with this topic, a review of membership procedures, and an update to ESN’s events calendar. The plan also places emphasis on strengthening our IT platforms and increasing ESN’s impact within local communities, through initiatives such as Erasmus in Schools and by reinforcing our role within the European University Alliances.
This Action Plan is the first of six to be implemented throughout the duration of ESN’s new Vision and Strategic Priorities, and it highlights our continued commitment to supporting international mobility.
