Through the MappED! project, ESN and its partner organisations developed a platform which maps the accessibility of university buildings, making it easier for students with disabilities to get information.

As a follow-up of that project, ESN is now involved in a project called Enhancing a thought-out Policy and Framework on Inclusive Mobility across Europe (EPFIME), coordinated by the Flemish organisation SIHO. In this project there will be research on the topic of inclusive mobility and the above-mentioned MappED! tool will be further developed. Several governmental bodies are involved in the project and the results will be spread to other stakeholders in education through the Bologna Process.
