Erasmus isn't just a phase of your life. It's a transformative journey that can redefine your entire path.
The Erasmus Student Network is proud to present The Future Is Erasmus initiative, our main advocacy efforts for the next edition of the Erasmus+ programme for 2028–2034.
We want to ensure that the next phase of Erasmus will be more inclusive, accessible, impactful and competitive.
The Future Is Erasmus initiative is built on two main pillars:
PROPOSALS UPGRADE TO ERASMUS+
IMPACTFUL STORIES FROM PARTICIPANTS AND KEY PLAYERS
With insights from students, alumni, and partners, ESN will submit a series of proposals to ensure that learning mobility becomes even more impactful and accessible in the 2028–2034 Erasmus+ programme.
Through this initiative, ESN is dedicated to fostering a community where the Erasmus Generation can thrive, empowered by the transformative experiences of international education and cultural exchange. By sharing stories from the Erasmus Generation, we will seek the support of our partners and Erasmus Alumni to showcase inspiring testimonials on why Erasmus+ must remain a priority on the EU agenda.
At the forefront of our agenda is the proposal for the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), which will set the budget for the next Erasmus+ programme. ESN is committed to advocating for a significant increase in Erasmus+ funding, with further updates to follow as part of our initiative, as well as a clear proposal and goals.
Through collaborative efforts, ESN brings together diverse voices from the education sector to champion improvements to Erasmus+. Together, the Erasmus Generation stands united to demonstrate that the Future is Erasmus—a future where every young person has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a cohesive, diverse, and sustainable Europe.
