The issue of international student housing is surely of key importance. Hence, as an organisation supporting student mobility, Erasmus Student Network is committed to facilitating the process of finding accommodation abroad for exchange students.
This matter was explored further in our HousErasmus+ project that aimed to identify the challenges and best practices around accommodation for international students and trainees. 2 years of comprehensive reasearch led to creation of the HousErasmus+ Research Report that broadly explains current international student housing situation.
Meanwhile, Erasmus Student Network has partnered up with two reliable booking platforms, Uniplaces and Spotahome, to provide international students and trainees with suitable housing options for their time abroad.
Uniplaces is an online marketplace for booking student accommodation with thousands of verified properties. It provides easy-to-find, easy-to book accommodation in a way that is safe, trustworthy and consistent in terms of quality.
Spotahome is the first platform designed for direct booking of accommodation of 30 days or more, taking away one of the biggest headaches for people planning to move abroad. It makes finding a new home secure, transparent, fast and easy.
