In September, the Erasmus Student Network invites you to two in-person conferences in Brussels and one online event dedicated to inclusion, integration and civic engagement in student mobility.
Diversity and Inclusion in Erasmus+ Mobility: Online Conference
Where? Online, Zoom
When? 22nd of September 2025, 14:00 - 16:00 CET
The DiEM project, short for Diversity and Inclusion in Erasmus+ Implementation, aims to enhance the inclusivity of the Erasmus+ programme by focusing on widening participation for students with fewer opportunities. The leading organisation of this project is ESN, operating with a consortium of partners to address the core priorities of the Erasmus+ programme 2021-2027 and the European Education Area by promoting accessible, diverse, and inclusive mobility experiences for all. The DiEM project seeks to identify barriers, improve support mechanisms, and develop innovative tools to foster a more inclusive Erasmus+ programme.
This online event will present key findings from the DiEM project research on inclusive access and participation in Erasmus+ mobility. The event will highlight student perspectives, institutional practices, and national-level data through three main outputs: a research report, National Inclusion Monitor, and Guidelines for inclusive internationalisation supported by higher education institutions. By bringing together student, institutional, and policy perspectives, the event aims to foster a deeper and more informed dialogue on inclusion and support in international student mobility.
You can consult the live agenda of the conference for more information.
Register by the 19th of September to secure your spot. Registered participants will receive a Zoom link prior to the event.

Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in parallel sessions exploring how to strengthen collaboration between higher education institutions, national agencies, and civil society.

Empowering Students for Inclusive and Impactful Mobility
Where? Fondation Universitaire, Brussels
When? 30th of September 2025, 9:00 - 17:00 CET
This conference is part of the EUniverse project, which focuses on supporting universities in improving how they welcome and support international students. The project encourages creating better, student-centred integration activities based on real student input. The consortium aims to help universities build stronger support systems that make students feel more connected and involved during their time abroad.
