We are pleased to announce the upcoming AsCOLA project Final Conference, titled "Raising the Bar in Erasmus+ Mobilities: AsCOLA Student-Centered Course Evaluation". The conference will take place on the 6th of May, 2025, in Brussels, Belgium. The event will bring together higher education institutions, students and policymakers to explore how student feedback can drive improvements in course content and structure and how AsCOLA’s evaluation framework can lead to better learning outcomes and a more seamless mobility experience. The live agenda of the conference can be found here

One of the biggest challenges students face during their mobility is course-related issues - including enrollment, scheduling, content, and exams. According to ESNsurvey data, 42% of students need to change their courses during their exchange, often resulting in difficulties with course recognition afterward.

To address this issue, the AsCOLA project consortium has developed a course evaluation tool that allows exchange students to provide feedback on the courses they take. This tool will help future students make informed decisions when selecting courses and support institutions in improving course quality - ultimately enhancing the overall Erasmus+ mobility experience.

About the AsCOLA Project

AsCOLA, short for "Assessing Courses of the Online Learning Agreement," is an Erasmus+ Key Action 2 project focused on enhancing and digitalising the quality framework of Erasmus+ student mobility. The project aims to close the data gap in higher education by helping Higher Education Institutions better monitor and assess their educational performance, particularly in relation to their internationalisation strategies and policies.

Launched in March 2023 and set to conclude in May 2025, AsCOLA is led by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in collaboration with ESN, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), Risbo B.V.,  and the European University Foundation (EUF).

More details about the project can be found here.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring together key stakeholders to discuss how student feedback can enhance the quality of Erasmus+ mobilities and improve the overall learning experience. Register now to secure your spot and help shape the future of international mobility.

We look forward to seeing you in Brussels on the 6th of May, 2025!
