A group of volunteers holding the ¨We are the Erasmus Generation" banner

The Erasmus Student Network is thrilled to participate in the Annual Conference of the European Association of International Education in Toulouse, one of our long-standing partners with whom we have collaborated for years to improve international education and raise the voice of the Erasmus Generation.

Joining the discussion along with the International Education community regarding the most pressing issues in the internationalisation field is a priority for us as the biggest student association in the field of international student mobility and as the largest Erasmus alumni network.

We are creating efforts and advocating for the future of the Erasmus+ programme 2028-2034 through our Future is Erasmus Initiative, launching on the 30th of September. During the EAIE Toulouse, we will be available to discuss and present our initiative, creating an environment to progress the discussions regarding international mobility and education. We hope to enrich the opportunities during this event by showcasing our main advocacy effort for the future of the Erasmus+ programme.

A delegation of ESN volunteers from across our network will also be part of the conference, supporting participants to make the most out of their conference experience. On top of that, representatives from our member organisations, ESN Italy and ESN Switzerland, will also take part in it.

We are pleased to contribute to the content of the event with a number of sessions and posters on topics such as barriers faced by students, widening participation in student mobility,  making international student mobility more sustainable or digitalisation and simplification of procedures:
