ESN Minho
This month’s winner of the ‘Section in the Spotlight’ Award is given to ESN Minho from Portugal! The section was founded just 3 years ago in 2012, but have quickly grown to include 140 active members. In the short span of their existence, they have organised one Regional Platform (SWEP Minho 2014) and even won the title of STARlight - Best Section of the Erasmus Student Network 2015.

ESN visits the Commission
Between the 24th and the 27th of August, Erasmus Student Network organised the Communication Summit, an international meeting where Communication Managers from the member countries gathered together to share good practices regarding the marketing strategies that are used inside the network. During this meeting, participants visited the European Commission thus further enhancing the cooperation between the two organisations.
8 ESN Projects Approved for Funding
8 projects to be organised in the vein of SocialErasmus have been approved for funding from the Erasmus+ Students and Alumni Association. The winning applicants are: ESN Finland, ESN Lisboa, ESN Louvain-La-Neuve, ESN Turkey, ESN Coimbra, ESN Zagreb, ESN Jena and ESN Romania. Congratulations to all!

Register Your Startup in the Alpha Program
Web Summit is Europe's largest tech event over 20000. Every week, the organisers are selecting 25 early stage startups to exhibit for free during the event. If you are working for a startup or just founded yours, you can register to the program here.
Apply for the Youth Awards
You can apply for the CYFI’s Youth Awards, taking place on the 10th of December in London, until the 15th of September. The participants have the opportunity to win a sponsored trip to London where they can meet other youths with the same interests. There are three categories for which young people under 25 can apply: Financial Education, Financial Inclusion Innovation, and Entrepreneurship. You can find more information here.
