- NO.

- YES.
- First of all, you should form a group of enthusiastic people who wish to work on the ESN idea. Try to engage your friends or place an advertisement in the university newspaper. The good way can be to contact the former exchange students through the International Office.
- OK, you have the group - but the number of people is never enough. Do you want to recruit more members?
- NO.
- Go to 3.
- YES.
- Another source of contacts is the administration at your university and especially the International Office. They know the names of the former exchange students and have a list of the visiting foreign students. Usually, they are willing to send out information to international students, to help you with money, office and a place to host activities.
- Now you really have the people. You can check that you would work in accordance with the principles of ESN. Give a look at these pages now.

- Have you already contacted your National Representative or the Board of ESN for being helped and supported?
- NO.
- The person who can help you to in creating a new section is a National Representative (find one from your own country here). S/he will give any needed advice, put you in contact with already existing sections and help you to become formally a member of ESN. So, do not hesitate to contact your National Representative! If your country is not yet a member of ESN, contact the Network Administrator.
- YES.
- Sweet. It is almost done.
- Having statutes is not mandatory for becoming an ESNSection, but strongly suggested. Do you have statutes?
- NO.
- You might want to give a look at the ESN Statutes for finding inspiration.
- YES.

- Now it only time to fill application form. Send it jointly with your statutes to your National Representative (if any) or to the Vicepresident.
